So now you know everything there is to know about Barry Morphew, his tumultuous marriage to Suzanne, and his current whereabouts.

Who is Barry Morphew, and Where did he come from?
Barry Morphew, a native of Alexandria, Indiana, grew up in the same tiny town as Suzanne, but they didn’t meet until high school, where they instantly clicked.
Suzanne belonged to the popular clique and was well-liked, whereas he was a baseball player (who was eventually picked by the Toronto Blue Jays).
Regardless, they didn’t start dating until after Barry graduated, and they quickly chose to stay together, marrying in a gorgeous ceremony in 1994.

Before their marriage fell apart, Barry even started a landscaping business to help support his family. The pair wasn’t fully happy by 2020, but Barry wouldn’t even mention divorce because he didn’t want it.
As a result, when Suzanne’s disappearance, her affair, and Barry’s outdoorsy as well as man’s man nature were coupled, the father of two became the leading suspect.
When a dart cap from the latter was linked to his wife’s case, Barry’s admission that he was a hunter and an accomplished tranquillizer rifle shooter didn’t help matters.
Barry’s mobile phone records, inconsistencies about when he went to sleep the night before, and repeated trash runs on Mother’s Day 2020 all contributed to his arrest in 2021.

What happened to Barry Morphew? Where Is He Now?
After deliberation, tampering with evidence, and attempting to influence the public, Barry Morphew was formally arrested and indicted on charges of first-degree murder in May 2021, about a year after Suzanne Morphew was discovered missing.
“It had become evident that Barry could not control Suzanne’s persistence on leaving him, and he resorted to something he had done his entire life – hunt and control Suzanne like he had hunted and controlled animals,” the affidavit for his arrest reads.
In brief, the authorities believe Barry murdered his wife in order to prevent them from separating. Barry was able to post a $500,000 cash bond and was freed from custody in September 2021, shortly after pleading not guilty to the accusations against him.
As a result, Barry is confined to Chaffee County, Colorado, and wears an ankle monitor at all times, as per the terms of his bond.
According to the most recent accounts, he is currently awaiting trial in a remote location of the San Juan Mountains west of Salida.
Barry has always maintained his innocence, assuming that his wife was either kidnapped/killed by someone else or dragged away by a mountain lion.
Suzanne’s Range Rover has since yielded the DNA of a person — an anonymous sex offender linked to three other unsolved sexual assault cases throughout the country — but nothing has happened with it.
As a result, Barry Morphew is scheduled to stand trial in Spring 2022 as of this writing.
