Warner Bros. Television purchased the Spanish-language program’s original rights, and English screenwriter Miranda Kwok adapted it for the American network. Along with Shay Mitchell, she is also involved in the project as an executive producer (“Pretty Little Liars,” “You”).
The intriguing and enigmatic Robert Kamdar, who closely connects to Arman and his wife, Nadia, is introduced to viewers in the second season. We have everything you need to know about Robert Kamdar and his interactions with Arman! Here is all the information you need to know about Robert Kamdar from season 2 of “The Cleaning Lady”!
Who is Robert Kamdar?
The Cleaning Lady’s second season debut, titled “Sins of the Father,” introduces Robert Kamdar. Nadia tries to come up with the cash for Arman’s bail when he is booked into jail. She approaches Thony for assistance and requests the funds from the bitcoin flash drive. Garrett freezes the account while Thony is emptying it, which causes issues for Arman. Nadia is consequently compelled to approach loan shark, Robert Kamdar.
Actor Naveen Andrews plays Robert Kamdar in the television show. In 1991, Andrews made his acting debut in the movie “London Kills Me.” He is most recognized for his roles as Jonas Maliki in “Sense8” and Jafar in “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”.
In the Hulu miniseries “The Dropout,” the actor played Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani, who may be recognizable to some viewers. For the second season of “The Cleaning Lady,” Andrews has been added to the cast as a series regular.
What Does Robert Want From Arman?
Nadia approaches Robert for financial help in the second episode of season 2. Arman’s bail is expensive, and Robert appears to be aware of his predicament. He consequently makes the most of his position to secure a favourable bargain for himself. Robert requests a share of Arman’s firearms company in exchange for the $1.6 million needed for the bond. Nadia tries to haggle, but Robert knows he won’t assist her unless she accepts his conditions. Nadia accepts the bargain because Arman’s life is in danger, and Robert pays the bail.
Arman gets released from jail in the third episode and meets Robert to discuss their agreement. Robert isn’t given a share in Arman’s weapons company. Robert offers a different suggestion as a result. Arman is assigned to collect money from a different person to whom Robert extended a loan. Robert keeps Nadia as collateral in the interim. Robert seeks to restart his relationship with Nadia once it is clear that he is her ex. Arman eventually shows up with the cash, but it is clear that Robert isn’t concerned about it.
Robert appears to be interested in Nadia and is probably looking to hire her for his company. The episode has a scene when Robert appears to be romantically interested in Nadia while putting her to the test. It is, therefore, logical to assume that Robert would like to extort Nadia from Arman. As the second season goes on, we’ll probably see Robert attempting to put a wedge between Arman and Nadia. But whether Robert successfully runs the husband and wife will only become clear with time.
