Rita is alone in her pyjamas watching bad TV and eating junk food, depressed about the team’s choice to support a total stranger. When the doorbell rings, she answers it to discover a poster on her porch. A Rita Farr Retrospective is being promoted on the flier. Rita is moved by the gesture and travels to the neighbourhood movie theatre to meet her loving followers in person. Naturally, she enters the theatre to find it entirely empty. She remains, nevertheless, and watches the screening of her very first film role. As the movie begins, a green fog comes into the room, knocking the actress completely out.

After seeing the conversation with Kay, Jane, another lost soul, thinks about her own life’s purpose. She has complete control over everything and desires Rita’s feelings. When Rouge gets their dossier from the manor, she learns about this peculiar villain. An emotional vampire, Dr. Janus. Her abilities are described in the file, but not how to counter them.

After escaping a terrifying child, Cliff and Jane find themselves trapped in the horror film as well and shelter in a closet.
