Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 88: Return Date and Everything We Know

Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 88 Return Date – Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou created the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball Super. It is a continuation of Toriyama’s original Dragon Ball manga and recounts the exploits of Goku and his pals throughout the ten years that follow Majin Buu’s defeat. In June 2015, Shueisha’s monthly shnen manga publication V Jump started serialising it. Viz Media and Shueisha both publish the manga concurrently in English on their own Manga Plus platforms.

From July 2015 through March 2018, a 131-episode anime television series adaption created by Toei Animation aired in Japan. In December 2018, the follow-up movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, was released and quickly rose to the top of the anime film series’ box office. On June 11, 2022, a second movie, titled “Super Hero,” was released.

The date for the publication of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super manga chapter has been established as the December issue of Shueisha’s monthly shnen manga magazine V Jump approaches.

The return of the Dragon Ball Super manga in December 2022 was previously announced in November 2022. The announcement also revealed that the new arc wouldn’t centre on Goku and Vegeta because the manga might introduce a new couple of heroes.

Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 88 Release Date

On December 21, 2022, at 12 a.m. JST, the Dragon Ball Super manga will resume with chapter 88 following a four-month break. As a result, readers from the majority of the world will be able to read the chapter on December 20. Furthermore, on December 14, seven days before its scheduled international release, raw scans for the same should be made available online.

According to the announcement in the magazine’s November issue, the new arc would switch its emphasis from the series’ customary protagonists, Goku and Vegeta, to a new group of protagonists, Goten and Trunks, who will take control. This is done to ensure the timeline is established before the events of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.

Since the Saiyan hybrids will be seen wearing their new hero outfits, the next arc will be known as the Super Hero arc. Additionally, they will work together to maintain the city’s tranquilly.

The new character designs for Goten and Trunks make them appear more older and more like their movie counterparts. The teenage Saiyan hybrids appear to have finally experienced their growth spurt because they are significantly taller than they were in the manga when they first appeared.

In terms of their superhero attire, the pair may be seen donning a variation of the Saiyan armour Bulma created for Vegeta. The only method to differentiate Goten and Trunks from one other is by the colours of their suits, which are alternately black and white. This is most likely how the costumes were made. Another noteworthy aspect is that Trunks’ cape is substantially shorter than Goten’s.

There hasn’t been much information shared concerning the plot. The only other item that was disclosed was that Piccollo and Gohan would both play significant roles in the forthcoming arc, implying that the latter will probably assist in training Gohan to make him stronger.
