Where Are Yin Yuguo’s Parents Cai Qing and Yin Yonglin Now? – A new Netflix documentary called “The Joys and Sorrows of Young Yuguo” tells the story of a 16-year-old Chinese student who loves poetry and literature. The moving adventure of a lifetime is how the documentary is billed.

The 28-minute documentary provides a brief biographical glimpse into the love for Romanian culture and the nation.

The Joys and Sorrows of Young Yuguo is a novel about a 16-year-old Chinese student named Yuguo who develops a love for Eastern European poetry at a young age. He enjoys reading all kinds of poetry and deciphering its true meaning, frequently by doing a keen deep dive.

His commitment to his hometown is strengthened due to his enthusiasm, which soon takes him further. Yuguo posts a message inviting people to the university of Romania to read and study literature. (Which is also among his greatest aspirations.)

The parents of Yuguo support their son’s desire to finish his education in Romania. All of this will soon come to pass if the university professor is moved by his letter. He adds that everyone wants to study in Romania, but no one shows their passion for the nation with the same intensity as Yuguo.

The young Chinese student travelled to Romania because of his love and longing for the nation and its literature. Yuguo made an impression on the inhabitants of Bacău during his brief stay there and fully assimilated into the culture. However, three months after he arrived there, Yuguo perished in an accident. His parents, Cai Qing and Yin Yonglin, discuss how they handled their son’s passing and how they allowed him to follow his aspirations. So, if you’re interested in learning more, we can help.

In Kunming, Yunnan province, China, Cai Qing and Yin Yonglin had only one son, Yuguo. On the programme, Qing discussed how she believed no one on Earth could comprehend her son’s loneliness and how she felt this way herself. Ultimately, Yuguo decided to enrol at the Vasile Alecsandri University in Bacău, Romania, to study more about that nation’s history, literature, and culture. Qing stated that although she never put her son under any restrictions, she did feel protective of him when he went.

While Yonglin didn’t want his son to live too far away from him, he also didn’t want to prevent Yuguo from pursuing his aspirations. Yuguo was content the entire 80 days he was in Romania, sharing everything with his parents. In addition to learning the language and deepening his knowledge of literature, he was allowed to sample Romanian cuisine, made many cherished experiences, and left a lasting impression on the locals.

Even Yuguo published a piece in Romanian about his experience attending the National Day festivities in Alba Iulia. But in January 2019, his exceptional stay there ended abruptly. Even though he had been forewarned about the hazardous weather that day, the 16-year-old had intended to visit the Neamţ Citadel in Romania. Yuguo attempted to exit a moving train and banged his head on a mile marker under the snow that was covering the area.

Though shocked to learn of their son’s passing, Qing and Yonglin claimed they never regretted letting him go because he was merely pursuing his ambitions. Yonglin remarked that he had lost the ability to grin, but he hoped that if there were a parallel universe, Yuguo would be there blissfully following his goals.

Soon after Yuguo’s passing, Qing and Yonglin travelled to Romania. Later, they established a scholarship in literature at the Vasile Alecsandri University of Bacău, which they intended to fund for the remainder of their life. We believe that Kunming is still the headquarters of operations for both university professors Qing and Yonglin. Yonglin appears to be a professor at Yunnan University in China.
