Cruel Summer Season 2 Cast Details

The Hollywood Reporter reported in April 2022 that Cruel Summer is now a legitimate anthology series, meaning we’ll follow a completely new cast of characters and solve a different mystery. Therefore, even if we won’t know how Jeanette and Kate respond to the dramatic season 1 ending, we will get to watch a new tale develop with new characters. We weren’t prepared for this narrative turn, but Cruel Summer won’t leave us just yet!

Sadie Stanley, Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Lisa Yamada, and Sean Blakemore make up the new Cruel Summer season 2 cast. The Hollywood Reporter announced on April 27, 2022, that Lexi Underwood had been chosen to take over Eloise Payet’s role as Isabella.

The Hollywood Reporter also disclosed the characters and plotlines for season 2. Megan Landry, a computer programmer and honour student from a blue-collar household, is portrayed by Sadie Stanley. She begins to “embrace her genuine self” as soon as she meets Isabella. The “alluring and enigmatic” Isabella, who is the daughter of diplomats and spends a year as an exchange student with the Landry family, is portrayed by Lexi Underwood. Luke Chambers, Megan’s longtime best friend who comes from a wealthy family, is portrayed by Griffin Gluck.

Megan’s hard-working single mother, Debbie, has been portrayed by KaDee Strickland. At the same time, Lisa Yamada plays Parker, a well-known musician who grows more pessimistic as the world around her turns down. Sean Blakemore will portray the sheriff in the second season’s small Pacific Northwest village.
