One of the supporting characters in ‘Dexter: New Blood‘ is Sergeant Logan (Alano Miller). He exudes small-town charm, concealing his incredibly capable police officer self behind a friendly and accessible smile.
Logan appears to have romantic interests for Angela, his boss, and he even looks to be a competitor of Dexter at first.
The series, however, moves on from that portion of the story and introduces Molly, a true-crime podcaster who arrives in Iron Lake in search of a story after a wealthy young man named Matt Caldwell goes missing.
For most of the series, Dexter and Logan get along swimmingly. However, things take a turn for the worst in the last episode.
We’ve got you covered if you’re wondering if Logan dies in ‘Dexter: New Blood.’
Does Logan Dead Or Come Back?
Logan is, indeed, no longer alive. Angela and Logan arrest Dexter for the murder of Matt Caldwell in the season finale, titled “Sins of the Father.”
They take him to the police, where Angela questions him. But she is well aware that none of her evidence will stand up in court.
She reaches out to Angel Batista and learns that she isn’t the only one who believes Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher.
Angel informs the Iron Lake police chief that Dexter is alive and will be visiting her town. When Angela tells Dexter about this, he knows that he doesn’t have a lot of options.
He tells Angela the truth about Kurt and the females she’s been searching for for years. Dexter even tells her where Kurt’s underground bunker is.
Dexter begs Logan for water as Angela walks away. The camera had been turned off when Dexter told Angela about Kurt. As a result, Logan’s curiosity is peaked over what Dexter said that drove Angela to flee so quickly.
Dexter grabs Logan as he approaches to offer him the water bottle. He begs the other man to put down his struggle and let him go. Dexter, on the other hand, kills Logan when he reaches for his gun.
Why Dexter Killed Logan And What Was The Reason Behind This?
Dexter has become careless after a decade away from killing. And the faults he makes in the revived series make this abundantly evident.
Out of despair, he kills Logan. Angel Batista is on his way to Iron Lake, and when he arrives, everything will be finished.
As a result, he decides to take advantage of the small window of opportunity he has created by sending Angela away and fleeing. He doesn’t want to kill Logan at first, but he doesn’t have any other option.
Dexter’s fate is basically sealed by Logan’s death. It demonstrates to Harrison that his father is willing to kill innocent people in order to save their own life.
The first rule of the code is to avoid being caught. Dexter becomes simply another killer the minute he kills a totally innocent guy, and his own son takes him out.
