Who is Rowan Fielding’s Father in ‘Mayfair Witches’?

Who is Rowan Fielding’s Father in Mayfair Witches? – The 13th witch in the Mayfair family was born on November 7, 1959, and is named Rowan Mayfair. She is the central figure in the Lives of the Mayfair Witches anthology novel The Witching Hour.

Alexandra Daddario’s character, Dr. Rowan Mayfair, has a small issue. Although she has taken an oath as a surgeon to not harm, people around her keep dying despite her best efforts.

Naturally, Rowan understands she must find a solution to that urgent issue before unwittingly creating a tide of death in her wake. Rowan is convinced that there is an issue and is determined to identify it. Is Rowan’s talent a genetic trait? In any case, where are her parents? Who is the father of Rowan Mayfair? This is what we do know.

Who is Rowan Fielding’s Father
In “Mayfair Witches,” Who is Rowan Mayfair’s Father?

The Mayfair Witches, a book series by the late, venerable horror author Anne Rice, inspired Rowan’s story. Rowan’s paternity is still a mystery to us in the television adaption. In Mayfair Witches Season 1, Episode 2, Rowan does, however, at last meet her biological mother, Deirdre (Annabeth Gish). Then, a few seconds later, Deirdre’s throat was slashed! (Recall Rowan’s minor issue?)

Rowan’s aunt Carlotta, who gave her the name Rowan, really abducted her from Deidre at birth in the original books.

She is the daughter of Deirdre Mayfair, who was chosen to carry on the Mayfair Legacy and gave the title to her daughter. However, her great-aunt Carlotta Mayfair snatched the name Rowan from her at birth. Ellie Mayfair, a member of the extended Mayfair family who was childless and barren, took her in and raised her. Cortland Mayfair, one of Julien Mayfair’s sons, is considered to have been her father, making him a close relative. She was born and raised in San Francisco, where she used her telekinetic powers to kill a rapist by inducing an aneurysm in him during a kidnapping and assault. She had previously attacked a classmate at age 6 and caused a brain bleed in that person.

For Rowan, both incidents were highly traumatic. Later in adulthood, Rowan would cruelly employ her abilities in two instances involving hysterical circumstances. She was why her adopted father had a heart attack two months before her adopted mother passed away from cancer: he had intended to steal her (the mother’s) riches, leave with his lover, and sell the house to that mistress. When the mistress came to the house after the father’s death, she used it against her as well, but she was oblivious to what she had done because she had no idea the mistress had passed away. However, it should be noted that the ensuing death happened some time after her interaction with Rowan, demonstrating the breadth and strength of her skills.

The worst father is actually Rowan Mayfair’s father.

The secret of Rowan’s paternity is grim even by the standards of the plot in the books, although it has yet to be revealed in the Mayfair Witches television version. Cortland Mayfair, Deirdre’s uncle, is the father of Rowan Mayfair (Harry Hamlin). Deirdre escapes her aunt’s grasp in the first episode of Mayfair Witches and meets Cortland at his house, where he just happens to be hosting a party.

Deirdre experiences a brief period of unconsciousness while at Cortland’s party. Deirdre is raped, and as a result, she becomes pregnant with Rowan. At first, it could be clearer who Deirdre’s father is. Cortland conceals himself far too well. In the television adaptation of Mayfair Witches, Rowan still doesn’t know who her biological father is. When Deirdre was reunited with her daughter, did Cortland slit her throat? It would make sense for Rowan’s father to be reluctant to reveal his true identity.

Will Rowan learn the truth before Mayfair Witches Season 1 ends? Rowan still needs to determine whether her mother, Deidre will live or die with six episodes left in the season!

Rowan’s paternity may or may not be revealed in the upcoming Mayfair Witches episode, which will air live on AMC on Sunday, January 22, at 9 p.m. EST.
