The young adult romantic drama movie ‘After We Fell,’ directed by Castille Landon, creates a passionate and hormone-charged atmosphere.
The plot, which is a sequel to ‘After We Collided’ and is based on Anna Todd’s book of the same name, centres around Hardin and Tessa’s seemingly hopeless relationship. Love, as a character in the film mistakenly puts it, is frequently difficult.
For Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) and Hardin Fiennes Tiffin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), it’s all about rough love. Despite the fact that their love appears to be unbreakable, the plot eventually introduces the stormy wind into their equation.
Tessa begins to have second thoughts after meeting waiter Robert, and Hardin’s outbursts exacerbate the problem.

In Hardin and Tessa’s relationship, Hardin appears to be a demanding, jealous, and possessive lover.
He also fails to connect with Tessa on multiple instances, jeopardising their relationship’s honesty.
Despite the fact that Hardin appears to be a selfless individual, he is unable to let go of his fragile macho ego.
Tessa feels suffocated in the relationship, as seen by her diary post detailing Hardin’s mistreatment and cruelty.
While Hardin embodies the bad-boy hipster stereotype to a tee, his negative characteristics are equally evident in his personality.
He also focuses on his negative tendencies by taking boxing sessions with his half-brother Landon and attempts to be more sensitive to Tessa’s concerns.
Although he initially refuses to relocate to Seattle with Tessa, he eventually changes his mind. Hardin chooses to attend the event and bring Tessa along after Tessa feels left out because Hardin hasn’t told her about his estranged mother’s upcoming wedding.
While Hardin’s demeanour has a visible nastiness to it, Tessa is not without weaknesses as well.
While dinner with Ken and the family, Hardin excuses himself to strike up a chat with his buddy Lillian.
Tessa is envious and effortlessly flirts with Robert, the waiter. Hardin’s hardline demeanour has an obvious contrast in Robert, who is compassionate, attentive, and maintains a straight face when reacting to Tessa’s flirtations.
We wonder if this is the start of a new chapter in movie ‘After We Fell‘ when Tessa sees Robert for the third time outside the lake house and hands her his coat.
Robert turns out to be clever as well, as he is studying for the medical exam while working part-time as a server.
In contrast to Hardin’s laid-back demeanour, Robert, like Tessa, is driven. They get along well, and Robert gives Tessa his phone number at the end of the night.
Robert, on the other hand, emphasises that he will not urge Tessa to phone him. Tessa doesn’t call him, but she’s definitely thinking about it.
Hardin, on the other hand, is eager to throw a fit when he discovers the number in Tessa’s handbag.
However, because Tessa’s love for Hardin remains unwavering till the end, we conclude that she does not cheat on him.
