Konerack and Somsack Sinthasomphone were raised in a loving family that had relocated to the US from Laos. Had Somsack and Konerack were responsible youngsters who were keen to make a name for themselves, even though they both experienced quite a few difficulties during their youth owing to less-than-ideal socioeconomic circumstances. In May of that same year, he was sentenced to one year in jail with work release and five years of probation. The judge also required Jeffrey to sign up as a sexual offender. In addition, Jeffrey was on probation for abusing Somsack at the time of Konerack’s death.

When the police apprehended Jeffrey Dahmer and identified Konerack as one of his victims, Somsack had already returned to his family and was still residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after the traumatic experience. In addition, the Milwaukee Police Department and the City of Milwaukee were sued by the Estate of Sinthasomphone and Konerak’s family for allegedly violating their constitutional rights.
Since that time, Somsack Sinthasomphone has embraced privacy in his personal life and preferred to operate under the radar. But judging by appearances, Somsack Sinthasomphone is now wed and continues to live in Wisconsin with his wife.
