Is the Married at First Sight Couple Lindy and Miguel Still Together

Hey, reality TV fans! If you tuned into Lifetime’s Married at First Sight season 15, you’ll definitely remember Lindy Elloway and Miguel Santiago. This San Diego duo had us hooked with their rollercoaster romance—sweet highs, messy lows, and everything in between. Matched by experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec, they started strong, but the big question still lingers: Are Lindy Elloway and Miguel Santiago still together? Spoiler—they’re not. After a whirlwind marriage that ended in divorce in February 2023, they’ve gone their separate ways. Curious about where they are now? Stick with me as I spill all the juicy details on their post-MAFS lives!

A Quick Recap of Lindy and Miguel’s MAFS Rollercoaster

Picture this: Lindy, a 29-year-old physical therapist with a big heart, and Miguel, a 35-year-old Associate Medical Director with a nerdy charm, saying “I do” to a total stranger. That’s exactly what happened when the MAFS experts—Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec—paired them up in season 15, which aired from July to November 2022. Their wedding? Super sweet. The honeymoon? Even better. They seemed like the golden couple who’d beat the odds.

But hold up—things got real once they moved in together. Little disagreements, like Lindy not wanting to ditch her last name or Miguel dragging his feet about adding her to his insurance, snowballed into bigger issues. Remember that couples’ retreat? Oh boy, it was a mess! Lindy was all about snapping pics for the “Prom Night” theme, while Miguel turned into Mr. Grumpy Pants over it. He even got mad when she asked a producer to take a photo instead of him. “I just want her to read me better,” he grumbled. Lindy, on the other hand, wasn’t having it—she called him out for gaslighting her.

Fans had opinions too. Some thought Lindy bent over backwards to please Miguel, while others slammed him for not treating her right. Still, on Decision Day, they both said “yes” to staying married. Sweet, right? Well, not quite. Their marriage crashed and burned just over a year later, ending in divorce in February 2023. Lindy summed it up perfectly: “It’s impossible to stay married if both people aren’t fully in it.” Ouch, but fair.

Fun fact: Season 15 was a total bust for love. None of the San Diego couples made it, giving the season a big fat 0% success rate. Across 17 seasons, MAFS only has an 18.75% success rate—yikes! Morgan and Binh were the first to call it quits, while Mitch and Krysten made it to Decision Day before saying “nah.” Lindy and Miguel, along with Alexis and Justin and Stacia and Nate, all said “yes” initially, but none stuck it out.

Lindy’s New Chapter: Soaring High as a Flight Attendant

So, what’s Lindy up to now? This girl’s living her best life! Originally from Olympia, Washington, Lindy’s got a doctorate in physical therapy from Western University of Health Sciences (class of 2018). After the show, she kept working part-time as a physical therapist with Sharp Healthcare. But in September 2023, she dropped a bombshell—she’s now a full-time flight attendant! Cue the confetti. She’s pumped about the travel perks, aiming to hit four international trips a year. Talk about goals!

Lindy’s always been a travel junkie, and her new gig’s only fueling that fire. In 2024 alone, she’s jetted off to Mexico, Hawaii, Germany, Ireland, and Japan. And that’s just the recent stuff—she’s also checked Greece, Peru, Bali, and Venice off her list. She’s all about inspiring her followers to explore too, sharing stunning pics and tips on social media. Oh, and she’s still hustling with two per-diem physical therapy gigs on the side. Multitasking queen!

On the personal front, Lindy’s super tight with her family. She’s planning a 2025 trip to South Africa to dig into her mom’s roots—how cool is that? She also pops up to Seattle to hang with her brother, sister, and nephew. Plus, she’s got a solid crew of MAFS gal pals—Krysten, Alexis, and Stacia. They had a blast on a girls’ trip to Tulum, Mexico, in 2024. And get this: she recently linked up with Noi from season 14, laughing about how they’re done with reality TV after bonding over their wild experiences.

Single and thriving, Lindy’s all about personal growth and epic adventures. Her Instagram’s a treasure trove of travel inspo—go give her a follow!

Miguel’s Journey: Healing and New Beginnings

Now, let’s switch gears to Miguel. Born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Puerto Rico after his parents split, Miguel’s always been a brainy guy. During MAFS, he worked remotely as a medical director at RevHealth (until September 2024). Now, he’s a medical science liaison at AbbVie, a big-name pharmaceutical company in North Chicago, though he’s still based in San Diego.

Life threw Miguel a curveball post-divorce. In early 2023, he was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and a herniated disc—super painful stuff. He went under the knife for spinal surgery in March 2024 and has been super open about his recovery online. It’s pretty inspiring—he’s sharing updates to help others going through the same thing. On top of that, he’s got a poetic side, posting heartfelt verses on a separate account. Who knew this science guy had such a soft spot?

Travel’s a big part of Miguel’s life too. In April 2023, he visited Puerto Rico to chill with his dad, stepmom Nisay Cruz, and little sis Yaci Santiago. Then, in May 2024, he hit Hawaii with friends—including MAFS co-star Morgan! They’re calling each other “homies” now, which is adorable. He kept the travel bug alive with trips to Mexico in September 2024 and Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park in October.

Romance rumors? Oh yeah. In June 2024, Miguel posted a pic with a mystery woman at Barrel & Board, a fancy San Diego spot. Fans guessed it might be Morgan, but nope—it’s Lindsay Sumner, who seems to be his new boo. They looked smitten on a beach getaway, and I’m here for it! He’s also stayed buddies with MAFS pal Justin Hall and keeps making memories with his crew.

Reflecting on Their Time on MAFS

Season 15 of Married at First Sight was a rollercoaster, and Lindy and Miguel’s journey was no exception. While their marriage didn’t last, both have moved on and are thriving in their own ways. Lindy is living her dream of traveling the world, while Miguel is focusing on his career and health.

Their story is a reminder that relationships forged under unconventional circumstances can be challenging, but they also offer valuable lessons. For Lindy and Miguel, their time on MAFS was a chapter in their lives that helped them grow and discover what they truly want.

My Final Thoughts: Two Lives, Two Paths

Lindy and Miguel might not have made it as a couple, but they’re crushing it on their own. Lindy’s soaring—literally—as a flight attendant with a suitcase full of stamps, while Miguel’s healing, growing, and maybe even falling in love again. Their MAFS chapter showed us how tricky love can be under pressure, but their post-show glow-up? That’s the real story worth following.
