In Power Book 2: Ghost Season 2 Episode 10, Tariq resolves to follow in his father’s footsteps and then become a drug dealer after his father’s death.
Unfortunately, he becomes involved with the Tejada crime family, which adds to his difficulties.
Tariq’s intellect is on par with his father’s, but he can only point the finger at himself and the choices he has made.
When Lorenzo realises there is no product, Dru admits to stealing the drugs in the previous episode 9. He tells them that they must return it. While Monet and Mecca are speaking at the basketball courts, someone fires at them, and Mecca wonders whether it is Lorenzo.

As seen below, the trailer starts with a clip of Lorenzo & Dru Tejada laying some sort of strategy in motion. Mecca & Monet Tejada had already been plotting a hit on Lorenzo, but Mecca seems to have backed out.
“All is fair in love and battle,” Tariq adds in a voiceover. “We do whatever it takes for love, and we do whatever it takes for power.”
Tariq and Effie Morales have a tough talk in the trailer, while Brayden Weston appears in court, and Monet gives Cane an ultimatum.
Dru is also about to shoot someone, and Tariq is racing with a gun. It’s shown in the video below.

Patrick’s fate but also the fate of everyone else. It picks up immediately after the events of Power Book II: Ghost Season 2 Episode 9.

Season 2 Episode 10 of Power Book II: Ghost titled “Love and War,” will show on Starz on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 9:00-10:05 p.m. ET.

Tariq is having nightmares about Kanan, Proctor, LaKeisha, Raina, Jabari, Ray-Ray, and Carrie, all of whom he has wronged.
Davis informs Tariq that Jenny is calling Tate to the stand. Before entering the stand, Tariq shows Tate a photograph of Sweeney in blackface.
On the witness stand, Tate supports Tariq by notifying the jury about an eyewitness named Kamaal who has yet to be brought to the defence by the prosecution.
Cane learns that Mecca has been elevated to number two, and he’ll be passing the day in his penthouse. When Lorenzo realises there is no product, Dru admits to stealing the drugs. He tells them that they must return it.

Mecca informs Zeke that he intends to hire a private coach so that he can skip class. He calls Zeke to meet with Monet, who tells him about her upbringing and decision to leave him before he questions if she was involved in Carrie’s murder.
She says no. Dru goes to Everett’s room and swipes his keycard, while Diana goes to meet Tariq and steals the QR code off Tariq’s phone. They then walk to the rooftop, where the drugs are reclaimed.
Jenny inquires about the friendship between Brayden and Cane and the Westons. Despite the reality that Brayden claims he only met Cane once, Trace blows apart Brayden’s storey about the night they were kidnapped.
And Jenny shows footage of the two brothers from Ramirez’s dashcam.
The two brothers will be granted indefinite immunity if one of them testifies against Tariq. It is revealed that Zeke is, in fact, an adult and that he has decided to drop out of school.
While Monet and Mecca are speaking at the basketball courts, someone fires at them, but Mecca worries about Lorenzo. Tariq informs Effie that Lauren put Cane & Brayden on the wire and told them to go.
Then, Effie goes to Cane and tells him what’s happened, and Cane tells Brayden that Lauren has to be killed or he’ll kill her. Jenny confronts Brayden about informing on Cane.
When Mecca realises his suitcase has vanished, he follows it back to Stansfield. Tariq discovers Mecca is an FBI informant as he analyses the bag.
As a reward for her silence, he offers Mecca a hefty sum of money when they finally meet. Brayden threatens Lauren with a gun before letting her leave town.
In the end, she is knocked unconscious by Effie and taken away by her. Monet and Cane are waiting for Mecca in his penthouse.
She reveals that she plans to assassinate Lorenzo before boarding Mecca’s private plane with her family.
