Following Archie’s “generous” sacrifice, the town of Rivervale is seeking to return to normal.
The group tries to come up with a plan to stop the ghost La Llorona from terrorising the children when she arrives in town.
One of the inhabitants makes the ultimate sacrifice in particular.

The third episode, ‘Mr. Cypher,’ (Rivervale Part 2), will look at the presence in Rivervale of a mysterious man who appears to be the devil himself.
Jug, in particular, will fall into the man’s trap and comply with his demands. Kevin and Fangs’ connection may be revisited.
Meanwhile, Veronica is likely to utilise Reggie’s demon charge to promote her casino business and corrupt key figures.
She’ll rekindle her friendship with Nick St. Clair in her casino operations. Betty will also meet the Trash Bag Killer (TBK), a new character with new motives.

The CW will air Riverdale Season 6 Episode 3 on Tuesday, November 30 at 9/8c ( on CW50).
The show will air once a week, but on a different night and time than The Flash, just after The Flash.
Season 6 of Riverdale could carry on for a little longer, given Seasons 4 and 5 both featured 19 episodes. Riverdale Chapter 98 is available on streaming services like YouTube TV, DirecTV, and Fubo TV.

Jughead talks about the Ghoulies and how one of the Serpent’s princesses fell in love with one in a voiceover.
During the struggle between the Ghoulies and Serpents, Toni accidentally killed Danny (Darla’s son) when he walked in front of her.
Three months later, Toni is in treatment, telling her therapist that she did not plan to kill. She couldn’t bring herself to apologise to Darla Dickerson.
Veronica and Reggie discuss Reggie’s father’s hospitalisation. Reggie purchases a vehicle that resembles the one he owned in high school.
He pays twice as much for it as the book. He cleans up the car, but an image of him driving with an unknown woman flashes through his mind.
Tabitha is irritated by Jughead’s failure to hang the artwork in the flat. As she knocks through the wall and feels a breeze, they discover a secret compartment.
Scotch bottles and miniature boats are strewn over the room. La Llorona’s spirit rises from the Sweetwater River. Dagwood alerts Cheryl that someone is attempting to drown Juniper.
Cheryl saves Juniper from La Llorona’s drowning barely in time. Betty is torn between the names Archie and Polly for her child.
Cheryl wants the twins to stay with Alice until the spirit passes away. Jughead was aware of the previous renters in their apartment, Tabitha learns from the realtor.
Sam and Diane were killed in a murder-suicide. Veronica catches Reggie in a lie when she tells her the truth about him fixing his new car.
Jughead recounts to Tabitha that Sam was an obsessive painter, and Diane murdered him with a hammer before dying herself.
Tabitha is furious that Jughead kept a secret from her and that, as a result, he had time to build a doorframe.
According to Betty, Lucinda (a Serpent) drowned her daughter Sandra in a bathtub. The FBI is looking into Lucinda’s case.
Lucinda tells Toni that La Llorona drowned her daughter. Reggie and Veronica are making out in their car in front of Pop’s. Veronica pulls it short when a couple of Rivervale High jocks cheer them on.
Tabitha has a nightmare about killing Jughead by bashing him to death. Tensions are rising in the Veronica/Reggie and Jughead/Tabitha relationships.
Pop Tate tells Tabitha about a diner woman who died in a deep fryer accident. He maintains that the hauntings were driven away by a commotion in the 1980s, during which all of the windows were damaged.
Hermosa and Veronica talk about Veronica’s difficulties with Reggie. Reggie’s car, “Bella,” does not seem to pique her interest.
Toni investigates La Llororona and comes to the conclusion that the legend may be true. The ghost may come after unborn children, Betty is warned.
Jughead’s drinking has resumed, and Tabitha is alarmed. For the rest of the day, Jughead didn’t write. La Llorona pays Betty a visit while she is resting.
The spirit leaves a wet handprint on her dress. Tabitha comes across a hammer in the fridge. Jughead tells her that he’s almost done with his novella.
Reggie’s automobile has a photo on the back with a love note, which Veronica discovers. She realises the photo is of Miss Isabella Soprano, a former driver’s education teacher who inexplicably vanished after running into Principal Weatherbee.
Toni activates the fire alarm after seeing La Llorona enter the school.
Betty visits Dr. Curdle Jr only to discover she has never been pregnant; she now believes the spirit is in town and has abducted her child.
Betty tells Tabitha that she used to love reading Jughead’s early draughts. Gina, a social worker, pays Toni a visit to check on Anthony’s health.
La Llorona enters Anthony’s apartment with the intent of kidnapping him, but the baby survives as the grownups rush in.
Veronica confronts Reggie about Miss Soprano after his car is smashed. Reggie reveals that he never had an affair with his instructor; she was only the one who told him about his father’s abuse.
Reggie’s father recently passed away in the hospital. Toni and Betty concoct a scheme to bring La Llorona out of hiding; they’ll need Cheryl’s help to stop her. Baby Anthony will be safe at the Whyte Wyrm.
Reggie confirms that his connection with Veronica is fine. Veronica buys him a new car as an apology present. Cheryl, Toni, Betty, and Nana Blossom perform a seance to summon La Llorona.
Nana Blossom is possessed by a spirit who tells them about her past and answers their inquiries. La Llorona, a Rivervale nurse who was drowned by the townspeople, is played by Martha Mare.
Nana Blossom claims Darla Dickerson summoned La Llorona to town. Tabitha sneaked into Jughead’s office to read his manuscript; she’s drunk and outraged by what he wrote. Tabitha begins to demolish his bottled ships as well as his typewriter.
Before hitting him, she notices Diane’s reflection in the mirror. She comes to a complete stop in front of Jughead and proclaims her love for him.
Jughead expresses her love for her back. The residence of Tabitha and Jughead is ghost-free. In the cemetery, Darla confronts Betty and Toni.
According to Darla, the demon will not be defeated until Anthony is dead and in the demon’s arms. They find out that La Llorona triumphed over the Serpents and delivered the baby to Sweetwater River.
Jughead and Tabitha aren’t sure when their feud will be ended. Reggie has a vision of Miss Soprano in his automobile. Toni proposes that La Llorona take her place so that Anthony can be spared.
Toni believes she should be held responsible for the death of Danny Dickerson. According to the spirit, Toni is doomed to become the new La Llorona.
