Despite his phenomenal success over the last decade, Neymar Jr. has never forgotten his roots and morals. After all, as seen in Netflix ‘Neymar: The Perfect Chaos,’ his family, friends, and Praia Grande community keep him grounded no matter what.
But, of course, one of the most important people in his life has always been his kind and compassionate mother, Nadine Santos, whom he trusts implicitly.

Neymar’s Mother: Who Is She?
Nadine Santos, also known as Nadine Gonçalves, has always been a strong supporter of her family, particularly her two children, Neymar da Silva Santos Jr. and Rafaella Santos.
She is their true rock because, through faith, commitment, and tenacity, she not only leads them in the correct road but also ensures their mental and spiritual well-being.
In fact, Nadine’s convictions seemed to be the family’s only constant as they progressed from living in the slums of Southern Brazil to living it up, implying that she assisted them in staying put.
According to rumours, Nadine and Neymar Sr. divorced in 2016 after 25 years of marriage, but it appears that this only drew her closer to her children, who never fail to show how much she means to them.
Neymar Jr. has a tattoo of his mother’s name on the outside of his left wrist, surrounded by a heart and an infinity symbol, as well as an image of her face on his right bicep, next to a picture of his sister.
That in and of itself demonstrates their deep bond. Still, the mother-son combination is also fiercely protective of one another, frequently speaking to the media in their defence or support.
What Is ‘Neymar: The Perfect Chaos’ Mother Doing These Days?
Nadine Santos, Neymar’s mother, is still standing by her family and children today, with no plans to stop anytime soon.
That’s one of the reasons she’s the President of Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr., a social organisation founded by the Santos family in late 2014 to improve their town.
Her primary purpose in this organisation is to ensure the continual well-being of children and families in their community.
On her athlete son’s birthday in 2020, Nadine stated, “To congratulate you today would be too little for everything I wish you.”
“Because, aside from expressing my love, care, affection, and much more, which I never tire of doing,… my biggest prayer [for you] today and always is that God’s will prevail in your life.”
She went on to say, “Happiness not just today, but every day… May your strength be restored every day, and may your smile never fade… May you be showered with blessings for the rest of your life. Every day, I love you.”
