On March 13, 2019, ABC and Fremantle announced a collaboration to bring Press Your Luck back to life. Elizabeth Banks has been chosen to host the show.

A Show That Isn’t Scripted “Press Your Luck” is a game of wits, strategy, and even bigger stakes in which competitors try to dodge the legendary and wicked WHAMMY for a chance to win life-changing cash and rewards.

In the ABC version, a participant competes against the Whammy for the chance to win a fortune. By answering questions, three participants compete against each other to collect spins on the Big Board.

The participants then use their spins to earn cash and prizes while avoiding the WHAMMY, which might wipe out all of their winnings and leave them with nothing.

The winner proceeds to the bonus round, where they will compete against the WHAMMY for a chance to win $1 million in the final battle.

So, how do you feel about tonight’s episode, “May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor“? And the concluding episode is particularly noteworthy.

Bonus Round Of Press Your Luck Season 3 Episode 12

The winner of the bonus round competes against the Big Board alone for a chance to win up to $1 million.

The champion must spin five times without stopping in each of the five rounds: five in the first, four in the second, and three in the third.

Each of the first four rounds adds prizes to the Big Board, with the winner receiving a luxury car or a dream trip worth over $150,000.

The champion’s bank is wiped out, but not their main game victories; any rewards in the bank are restored to the Big Board.

The bonus game ends if the winner gets four Whammies. $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000, and $100,000 are the maximums.

With each round, the prize pool increases. It must be taken that round if the champion hits an extra spin location.

A champion must finish the round with a bank total of $0 or greater to stop playing and keep all earnings. If a round finishes with a $0 value, the next one begins immediately.

The winner receives all of the cash and rewards in the bank if they stop or complete all five rounds.

The bonus game ends when the bank reaches or exceeds $500,000, and the prize pool is boosted to $1 million.
