American Horror Story: Double Feature revisits one of the show’s most sinister places.
Stephen King, who used novels like Salem’s Lot to argue that otherworldly forces are drawn to more conventional kinds of evil, impacted the first half of the show’s Double Feature season.
Reiterating to viewers on a daily basis that the show’s most terrible tragedies are terrifyingly real.

American Horror Story Double Feature: Season 10 Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 of the Double Feature In Episode 4, the stunning debut of the Chemist (Angelica Ross) in P-Town five years ago is finally brought to an end.
As she recounts to a sceptical Holden Vaughn, she recently left her employment at a lab in Providence, referring to it as a “terrible divorce.”
Following her arrival, the Chemist walks out on the street in search of potential test subjects for her wonder cure, eventually bringing home poor Mickey, who promises to do “anything” for $20.
On the other side, The Chemist seems uninterested in his Halloween special. Instead, she tells him about his government-funded discovery of a drug that stimulates the neurons in brilliant people’s occipital brain.
Mickey is intrigued, but he isn’t ready to take part in her clandestine human experimentation.
He promises to offer her potential subjects in exchange for $50. The tone-deaf schmuck’s gradual transformation into the town’s first pale, bald freak is the outcome of his first find: a bad karaoke singer.
Lark runs a vintage clothing store and dabbles with tattoos and dentistry, right?
The Chemist gets along with Belle Noir (Frances Conroy) a lot better than the rest.
He refuses to attend any of his wife’s book readings, refuses to do “anything truly queer,” and brags about boning a townie before announcing their divorce.
Because he has no idea that Belle has taken the pill, she murders him, drains him, and disperses his body parts all over the beach.
After two years, Belle has grown into a best-selling novelist in need of a makeover. Naturally, she becomes involved in Lark’s business, where we learn that Lark (Billie Lourd) is also a Chemist. “I killed my last boyfriend,” she adds, way too quietly.
I drank him to death before setting fire to his body.” It was just a normal talk amongst assassins.
Then there’s the big reveal, which we’ve all been waiting for. Belle goes to a homosexual pub in the neighbourhood and meets Austin Sommers, who is disguised as a young drag queen named.
Finally, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Eureka makes an appearance, though it’s not nearly as entertaining for Austin as it is for Eureka and the other queens, who spend the majority of their screen time ripping on Austin’s busted drag.
After taking his first pill, Austin returns home to viciously slay all of the queens who have wronged him.
