With its sixth season, ‘Riverdale’ decided to go completely into the horror genre finally, throwing its characters into a chaotic magic-filled world after previously touching on spooky cults, pagan rituals, and ancient curses.
We witness a sequence of supernatural events in Rivervale, an alternate version of the original town, through a 5-episode event dubbed ‘Rivervale.’
As a result, we watch how Archie is betrayed by his friends and sacrificed for the sake of the town, Toni takes on the burden of La Llorona for her son, and Veronica sells Reggie’s soul to the Devil.
Tabitha and Pop Tate, on the other hand, interact with an angel as Betty murders Glen Scott. Sabrina Spellman also arrives in Rivervale to assist Cheryl with the transference spell.

Riverdale Season 6 Episode 5 ‘The Jughead Paradox’ Press Release
Riverdale Episode 6×05 Promo / Trailer
Spoilers for Riverdale Season 6 Episode 5
‘Riverdale’ season 6 episode 5, titled ‘The Jughead Paradox,’ is the series’ 100th episode. It will mostly focus on Jughead, who frequently serves as the show’s narrator and has a propensity for researching his town’s disturbing happenings.
Weirded out by Rivervale’s strange activities, Jughead will understand that Rivervale and Riverdale maybe two parallel universes linked together.
As a result of a peculiar series of events, Jason Blossom, who died in season 1, and Archie, who died in season 6 episode 1, will appear.
Jughead and Betty will also rekindle their romance, despite the former being supposed to be with Tabitha and the latter with Archie.
In addition, it appears like Jughead and Archie will have a spat. Meanwhile, Jughead will discover the contradiction created by Riverdale and its parallel version while investigating his weird hallucinations,
which are most likely the totality of the ‘Rivervale’ incident.
Jughead’s presumably dead body appears to be an essential plot piece, which will be explained in the context of the paradox.
Perhaps we’ll learn more about Sabrina and her mystical link to Rivervale.
The episode is also likely to reference ‘Jughead’s Time Police,’ a well-known book from the ‘Archie’ comics collection.
