1883 Episode 7 Recap And Ending Explained
Recap of Episode 6 of 1883
The waggon camp arrives at Doan’s Crossing in Episode 6, titled ‘Boring The Devil.’ The village is located on the edge of the Texas border, with Indian land beyond.
As a result, the team must collect all of the required resources from Doan’s Crossing. Elsa is depressed after Ennis’ death and considers suicide.
Shea speaks with the young woman and reminds her that she carries a piece of Ennis with her. Elsa’s most superb method to honour Ennis’ memory is to keep experiencing life. As a result, Elsa decides not to shoot herself.
Margaret and Elsa go to the market later, where Elsa confronts a local man. Unless James intervenes, she threatens to shoot him.
Elsa returns to tend to the herd, where she meets Colton, a young cowboy recruited by Shea to fill Ennis’ place. Elsa is chilly and refuses to introduce herself to Colton.
Margaret meets a local shopkeeper called Carolyn at the market, and the two share a few drinks. James and Shea investigate the neighbouring river and devise a strategy for getting across it.
In other news, Thomas is attempting to employ a cook and is having to deal with the latter’s various demands.
Thomas hesitantly agrees, and the caravan gets a cook for the first time. After admitting their affections for each other, Thomas buys Noemi a gift, and the two sleep together for the first time.
Margaret confesses her regrets to James while returning to the camp while inebriated. The campers must prepare for another arduous river crossing the next day.
