1,000-Lb. Sisters: Amy Slaton’s Husband Michael Halterman Files for Divorce

Amy Slaton’s Husband Michael Halterman Files for Divorce – Amy Slaton, star of the reality show “1,000-Lb. Sisters,” is reportedly divorcing her husband, Michael Halterman, after four years. Rumours of a split began circulating three weeks ago. They were confirmed when Michael filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy on March 13th, according to court records in Kentucky.

Amy and Michael met while in high school, tied the knot in March 2019, and welcomed their first child, Gage, in November 2020. A year later, they announced they would welcome a second son named Glenn in July 2022 – moments shared on social media by Amy since becoming parents of two.

Rumours of their split first surfaced in February 2023 when The Sun reported that Amy and their two sons had moved out of their shared home in Kentucky. According to a source, Amy and Michael have been having issues since last year, with Michael feeling jealous about her attention towards the children.

Before their divorce was finalized, Amy and Michael discussed taking a break from filming “1,000-Lb Sisters” to focus on raising their sons. While she loves the crew, filming can be stressful and time-consuming for them both.

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you of the couple’s divorce, especially as they recently welcomed their son Glenn into their family. Nonetheless, we wish Amy, Michael and their children all the best during this trying time.
