Christy Lee Giles Cilliers was born November 4th 1997, in Birmingham, Alabama and excelled at soccer and track and received several honours during her childhood years. At fourteen, Christy began participating in beauty pageants, which later led her into modelling at 14; eventually moving to Los Angeles to continue modelling until November 13th 2021, when her body was discovered outside Southern California Medical Center Culver City, Los Angeles, with evidence of heroin overdose a probable cause and additional drugs found within her system.
Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola was born November 29th 1994, in Mexico and graduated with honours from Universidad de Monterrey with a degree in architecture and design in 2019. Hilda moved to Los Angeles, where she met Christy; on November 12th, they went out for a night on the town on 11/12/2021 before later being found unresponsive outside two different hospitals across Los Angeles on 11/12/2021, later confirmed with heroin was present in their system causing multiple drug intoxication resulting in organ failure; hence her death on November 28th 2021 was due to multiple drug intoxication as well as organ failure.
Christy and Hilda’s deaths have been classified as homicides. According to reports, three men driving an unlicensed black Toyota Prius dropped them off at two hospitals before driving away with no license plates displayed. At the time of her death, reports indicate Hilda had multiple substances, including cocaine and MDMA, in her system. Authorities continue investigating to identify and apprehend those responsible for these women’s deaths.

On November 12th 2021, Christy Giles and Hilda Cabrales-Arzola went for a girls’ night in West Hollywood. Jan Cilliers believed they went to Soho House before heading to an East L.A. warehouse party, where another friend joined later before leaving early herself. When Jan tried calling Christy back later that morning but received no response, he eventually discovered her phone was at an unknown location within West Los Angeles and Hilda’s pinging at that same spot; police later identified it as being at Hollywood producer David Brian Pearce’s residence where her phone had gone silent – Jan was not happy about this development either!
Christy and Hilda’s bodies were found at separate hospitals, prompting police to arrest David Pearce, cinematographer Michael Ansbach and actor Brandt Osborn for murder and drug possession charges; David was additionally charged with providing overdose levels of fentanyl to both women. Michael Ansbach and Brandt Osborn were held on manslaughter suspicion.
David Pearce has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges brought against him and remains jailed on an $8.4 million bail since being arrested. Michael has yet to face any formal charges; according to his lawyer, he may serve as an invaluable witness who would assist with prosecution efforts; the trial has yet to take place in this matter.
