Elena greets Segundo and Mr. Jones in episode 6. Segundo believes that everyone needs friends.
The three guests, who are old friends celebrating their 50th birthdays, are greeted by Ruby and Elena. When they show up.
Ruby proposes a ladies’ night out. The trio discusses themselves. Nettie (Laura Leighton) had a picture-perfect life until she found out her husband was having an affair with another woman.
Margot, 47, is fatigued after having triplets. Cam is a single man who believes in self-sufficiency.
Nettie yearns for love. Margot is in desperate need of sleep. Cam has a dream. Elena tucks Margot into a corner.
Nettie tries to bring Cam to the pool but instead meets Dr. Tristan Alexander, a gorgeous stranger.
On her way back to her room, Nettie runs into Margot, and the two of them find Cam. They were taken aback when they saw a thinner Cam.
They’re getting ready for their big birthday dinner. Elena agrees to Ruby’s girls’ night out plan, but she insists on having her own way with it.
For a few shots, Elena joins the ladies. Dr. Alexander arrives at the party, and Nettie demands that he be seated at a separate table.
This, however, irritates Margot and Cam. When Javier collides with an inebriated Elena. Now that they’ve had sex, they’re ready to move on.
She inquires as to whether they are still pals. He offers to remain her buddy forever, but he leaves before she can seduce him.
Cam tells Tristan that they want to celebrate on their own. So he leaves, promising Nettie a morning horseback ride on the beach.
Nettie is terrified of Cam. Margot (Daphne Zuniga) tries to keep things in check, but they’re all buzzed, and an altercation erupts before they get to supper.
Nettie rides with Dr. Tristan, but she engages in a physical altercation when he inquires about her.
Elena urges Margot to take care of herself when she seeks for advice. Nettie and Margot reconcile their differences.
Margot asks Nettie to take a break from Cam. Cam pays a visit to Dr. Tristan (Lamonica Garrett).
Elena invites Segundo and Dr. Gina to a girls’ night out. She doesn’t want to wear a mask and instead prefers to play spades.
Nettie has a nervous breakdown when she sees Cam leave Tristan’s room. They fight once more, but Elena steps in and drives them to a funeral home, remarking on their brief relationship.
Margot is dead when Nettie and Margot open the casket. Nettie and Cam argue when they spot each other in the congregation.
Margot is fed up with mending their quarrels. When the daughters of Margot arrive. Margot is determined not to die without her children. Elena reminds her that she is in charge of her own fate.
As they leave Margot’s burial, Cam informs Nettie that Margot had cancer. Nettie admits to being envious of Cam’s life and attitude.
Cam then returns to her body. Margot makes a few phone calls to begin self-care. The pals get together for a birthday celebration at the beach.
Nettie and Cam express their regret to Margot and offer their aid. The girls talk about their plans for a girls’ night out.
Ruby admits that she didn’t tell Gina she was married. Elena admits to having a sexual relationship with Javier.
