(FTWD) Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 10 Recap – Because of the sunk cost, many of you, like me, have persisted with The Walking Dead and its spinoffs. We’ve been watching these shows for so long that it feels strange to abandon them suddenly. We continue to watch Fear The Walking Dead, despite the fact that we now have to go through scenes where inspirational acoustic guitar music plays over cheesy romance scenes.
When Charlie unexpectedly shows up at the Tower, Howard enlists the help of a young ranger in training to figure out why she’s there; as they venture outside the Tower together, Charlie’s actual motivations become clear. The kiss in question between Ali, a new character, and Charlie, a veteran character, has me perplexed. Ali is played by Ashton Arbab, a nineteen-year-old actor who portrays a character that is older than Charlie in the programme. He appears to be in his late teens or early twenties.

Meanwhile, Charlie informs everyone that she “turns 13 this week,” implying that she is still twelve? The entire show, however, is set up as a growing romance between the two, which, of course, ends tragically when Ali is tossed from the tower rooftop. In any case, we get a clichéd, extremely scary love scene between a male clearly older than 15 and a girl who has only recently turned 13. It’s also her birthday, and she’s dying of radiation poisoning.
‘Mourning Cloak,’ the 10th episode of AMC’s post-apocalyptic series ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 7, focuses on Ali, who hopes to be a ranger for Victor Strand. Ali meets Charlie, who has come to the Tower seeking safety, as he prepares to be one. She informs Howard that she had planned to spend the night at Victor’s sanctuary, where she would be looked after by Grace or June in secret.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 10 Recap ‘Mourning Cloak’
To demonstrate his loyalty, Howard asks Ali to capture the namesake rare butterfly from the Tower’s premise in ‘Mourning Cloak.’ Ali comes upon Charlie after capturing it and holds her at gunpoint. Howard is informed that she is a member of Morgan’s group after John recognises her. They bring her to the Tower to question her.
She explains that she travelled to the Tower in search of better living conditions, intending to live there in secret with the help of Grace or June. She volunteers to conduct a suicide mission in order to persuade Howard that she can be a valuable asset to Victor’s sanctuary. Howards invites Ali to follow Charlie in order to learn more about her true motivation for visiting their neighbourhood.
Ali and Charlie set out to find elevator parts in order to repair the Tower’s elevators. They take a detour to get to a building when they come across the Stalkers. Charlie searches the premises for the parts. Meanwhile, Ali is confronted by the Stalkers, who compel him to enter the building full of walkers. By bringing the walkers to the Stalkers, he manages to get away from them.
He runs into Charlie, who is attempting to board an elevator in the building. She tells him that she came to the Tower to turn off the beacon so Morgan could rescue Grace and Mo from the walkers. After hearing Charlie’s true motive, he seals her in the elevator and brings a group of walkers to the elevator’s entrance.
However, after telling him that she would not carry out her plan, she persuades him to save her. Ali eventually manages to liberate her, but she succumbs to radiation poisoning.
Is Ali Dead at the End of Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 10
Yes, Ali is no longer alive. When he learns that Charlie is nothing more than a threat to the Tower and Victor, he confines her and chooses to return on his own. Charlie, on the other hand, informs him that there is a world out there for them to meet. She assures him that they will be able to live a life apart from Victor and Morgan.
Ali is tempted by Charlie’s desire to be with him. Victor begins to think about love and intimacy rather than concentrating upon becoming a ranger. Her words captivated his heart, prompting him to let her free. He promises Charlie that when he returns to the Tower, he would turn off the beacon for her.
Ali’s decision to become a ranger was a means of emigrating. He needed a reason to live after his father passed away. Charlie teaches him that he is deserving of better. When Charlie grows apprehensive about shutting off the beacon, he agrees. He has the courage to turn against Victor because of his love for her.
Ali climbs to the Tower’s terrace to turn off the beacon to calm her nerves, only to run across Howard. Howard tosses him to the ground, killing him before he can turn out the light, realising that he has joined the enemy. The love he longs to share with Charlie for the rest of his life turns out to be fatal, as it takes his life.
Is Howard Responsible for Charlie’s Death FTWD Season 7 Episode 10?
Howard does not murder Charlie. When Ali and Charlie return to the Tower, Howard grows sceptical of both of them. When he tries to turn off the beacon, he suspects Ali is hiding something from him, which he confirms. Howard rushes to kill Charlie after ensuring his demise. In Victor’s absence, he is unable to endure the presence of an adversary in the Tower, prompting him to seek out and kill the girl.
June, on the other hand, is sandwiched between Howard and Charlie. She informs him that Charlie is under her protection, rendering Howard helpless. For the Tower’s deputy leader, a confrontation with June is a one-way ticket to failure.
June is a very important person in Victor’s neighbourhood. She is helpful as a nurse. When Howard tries to kill Charlie over June’s objections, she tells him that killing either her or Charlie will result in serious consequences. Knowing that June’s contribution is critical to the healthcare of the survivors in his community.
Howard makes the decision not to offend her. June uses her position as a weapon to defend Charlie from the deputy leader, who is reluctant to harm her. June takes on the burden of Charlie, who is already dying slowly as a result of her radiation exposure, and promises to protect her.
Can Charlie prove her worth to Strand?
