However, before trick or treating even begins, they begin to bicker, causing them to separate ways for the day.

They are, however, oblivious that bantering is their love language, and they feel empty without their daily dosage of regular Hayworth drama.

Tom and Marina will be visited by famed chef Sofia in episode 7, titled ‘Speeding Ticket, $180,’ but her effect on Tom will make Marina jealous.

Sofia’s outgoing personality will irritate her, prompting Tom to adopt similar traits. Sofia is the persona Tom is ghostwriting for, as you may know.

Shamiah, Sarah and Denise’s daughter, likes to seek counsel from Connor, but when the worried parents notice the same, they will be obliged to act.

In the coming week, it appears that we’ll learn more about Shamiah and her personal life!

Recap of Home Economics Season 2 Episode 6

The sixth episode, ‘Box of King-Size Candy Bars, $48.99,’ begins with the Hayworths preparing to celebrate Halloween together for the first time in a long time.

When it comes to choose a site for trick or treating, though, they can’t seem to come to an agreement.

As a result, the families disperse and spend the day in their respective communities.

Connor re-connects with his ex-wife Emily, but the two get into a fight over trivial concerns.

When Tom and Marina meet a couple that instantly connects with them, the party transforms into an intimate double date.

Surprisingly, the chat loses its lustre after a few minutes because they discover how strangely similar they are.

So they leave, only to discover that the other Hayworths are nowhere to be found. Denise and Sarah feel left out when their children form their own social circles.

The Hayworths realise that they want to spend the night together at the conclusion of the day.

They all rush in at Connor’s, still costumed as iconic superheroes, albeit Connor’s showy Iron Man suit clashes with Tom’s shoddy cardboard scraps fashioned into another Iron Man costume.

As all of the Hayworth superheroes sit around and continue their lively banter, the night comes to a tranquil conclusion.
