Keith Bryan’s Cause of Death
Keith Edward Bryan was born in Dallas, Texas, in November 1958. He moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after spending his youth there. Keith spent more than three decades with the Nichols Hills Fire Department in Oklahoma. He rose through the ranks to become the Fire Chief at the time of the incident.
The 52-year-old was married to Rebecca AKA Becky for 33 years and also had a construction company on the side. Becky called 911 at 10 p.m. on September 20, 2011, to inform that her hubby had been shot. Keith was found with a bullet wound to the side of his head when the authorities arrived.
He was found on the couch at their Mustang, Oklahoma, home and was brought to the hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries. A.380-caliber Ruger was used in the murder, and it was later discovered in the Bryan home. While Becky stated the invader was an intruder, the investigators would soon come to doubt her story.
Who Killed Keith Bryan and Why?
According to Becky Bryan, a man in his mid-20s wearing a hoodie entered the residence through the garage. The invader, she claims, shot Keith before apologising and stating her husband should have hired him. Becky subsequently reported having seen him flee in a small, black truck through the garage.
A search of the residence, however, revealed a gun in the dryer, as well as a bullet case, a latex glove, and a holed blanket. Becky’s extramarital affair with Mark Holbrook was also discovered over the course of the investigation. In the summer of 2009, the two met in a real estate seminar, and their friendship quickly turned amorous.
Mark was also married, and he later testified that the two had agreed to discontinue their relationships. In January 2010, after spending a weekend together, Mark realised “she (Becky) wasn’t the person I thought she was.” She started being manipulative.”
Becky had already filed for divorce from Keith when Mark chose to stop their relationship. Soon later, Keith called Mark, and the two discussed the affair; they eventually chose to reconcile with their respective partners. Becky, on the other hand, started turning up at Mark’s residence. During the investigation, her actions and behaviour leading up to Keith’s murder were suspicious.
Becky admitted to cheating on Keith just four days before his death, according to a friend; she was in Texas for a wedding and met a man in a bar. Becky was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a work meeting the day before the massacre. She emailed naked images of herself to at least two men while she was there. Becky had sex with a man named Wes Huber on her way home on September 20.
She left Mark a voicemail after returning to her Mustang home at 7 p.m., saying she still loved him, that she would be getting a significant fortune soon, and that she hoped to move closer to him. On the way to the hospital after the shooting, she boasted about sleeping with other guys and gave them a photo of Wes’ penis, according to family members.
What Happened to Becky Bryan and Where is She Now?
Becky Bryan’s claim of an intruder was dismissed by the prosecution. The murder weapon was discovered in the dryer and was identified as Becky’s after serial numbers on the weapon and a gun box under her mattress matched. Authorities believe she wrapped the rifle in a blanket and shot Keith. Her DNA was also discovered on the latex glove.
Becky was convicted guilty of murdering her husband in May 2013, when she was 54 years old. She was condemned to life in jail in Keith Bryan murder without the chance of release in July of that year. Becky is still detained at the Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in McLoud, according to records.
My Final Conclusion in Keith Bryan Murder Case
Becky clearly believed she could reclaim Mark. She had most likely planned to Keith Bryan murder for some time and had chosen September 20 as the date. I’m not sure what to say other than that I feel terrible for Keith and Becky’s children. They lost both of their parents, and no one knows how they feel about their mother now. Becky deserves to rot in jail, especially considering what she did to her husband. Keith only did what he could to love her and provide for her and their family.
