The Flash Season 9: Stephen Amell is Returning to the Final Season

Stephen Amell is Returning to the The Flash Final Season

The Flash Season 9 Cast – It’s official: Stephen Amell will reprise his role as Oliver Queen in the last season of “The Flash” (aka Green Arrow). On Wednesday, The CW made the news public.

The executive producer of “The Flash,” Eric Wallace, stated in a statement made available to TheWrap, “We knew we wanted Stephen to come back and reprise his iconic role as Oliver Queen as soon as our last season was announced. “After all, Oliver was the one who first set Barry Allen on his heroic course. Because of this, Oliver’s return in the last season of “The Flash” needed to be a full-circle event, according to everyone on Team Flash.

Wallace continued the outcome is an epic-yet-emotional episode, which we think Arrowverse fans will love. All of this is intended to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported and watched our show for the past nine fantastic years. We can all wait to witness Grant and Stephen team together to save the planet. There will be tears, as well as thrills and shivers.

David Ramsey, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who play John Diggle/Spartan, Wally West/Kid Flash, and Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork, respectively, will also reprise their roles. The episode they will all watch together is Episode 909.

By the time “Arrow” ended in 2020, Amell had become a household name because of his 2012 casting as Oliver Queen. Given that he was already dead when “Arrow” ended, it’s unclear how exactly Queen will return, although there are several options.

The CW will premiere “The Flash’s” ninth and last season on February 8, 2023.
