When the FBI investigated the Gun Trace Task Force, he was the full-time Police Commissioner, and several GTTF officers were arrested and convicted.
Davis was the BPD Police Commissioner for over three years before Mayor Catherine Pugh removed him from the office in January 2018. Davis’ replacement has been named Deputy Commissioner Darryl D.
