It has been revealed that Yul Vazquez and William Sadler will star in Caleb Phillips’ horror film “Imposters“. Filming will begin in mid-October 2024 in Massachusetts and is expected to wrap within four to five weeks; Phillips wrote and directed the film himself.
Paul and Marie’s infant son Theo goes missing during their housewarming party, prompting weeks of searching. A mysterious figure named Orson arrives one night claiming that there’s a cave nearby which could help find him; Paul does not believe him but Marie decides to visit this cave alone, eventually returning covered in blood with what she believes to be Theo in her arms – only for Paul to suspect otherwise and question Marie further as it turns out she might know more than she’s telling them.
Yul Vazquez is a talented Cuban actor who has appeared in well-known shows like ‘Severance’ on Apple TV+, “The Outsider” on HBO, and “Russian Doll” on Netflix. Upcoming roles of Vazquez’s include roles in “The Lost Bus,” a film about an active wildfire; as well as “People Not Places,” which tells about an elderly woman’s unlikely friendship with a homeless person.
Actor Sadler has had an extensive acting career, appearing in films such as “Die Hard 2”, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” and “The Mist”. Sadler has also appeared in a number of horror films, making him a perfect fit for this suspense thriller “Imposters”.
“Imposters” marks Caleb Phillips’ second feature-length movie as director. Prior to that he directed shorts such as “Play Me” and “Other Side of the Box.” Filming will take place in Massachusetts – an ideal spot for horror flicks such as American Horror Story or ‘The New Mutants’!
