Zsalynn Whitworth of San Antonio, Texas, originally appeared on season 2 episode 1 of ‘My 600-pound Life.’ The 42-year-old had once achieved a top weight of 694 pounds. Zsalynn could hardly stand and walk, admitting that she knew she would die very soon if she stayed on her current route.
The mother of one wished to spend as much time as possible with her daughter, but her manipulative and unsupportive husband was proving to be a considerable obstacle. He put his fantasy and perversion ahead of his wife’s everyday life. “He has a physical preference for his sexual needs…that requires me to be bigger than just overweight,” Zsalynn explained the matter in one simple, unambiguous word.
When Zsalynn ordered a salad in a restaurant, her husband told her, “I’m not buying you a salad.” You can graze in the garden if you want to eat grass.”
Zsalynn resolved to lose weight in order to have a future and live life to the fullest. She moved to Houston in 2014, against her husband’s desires, and began her year-long weight-loss adventure.

Zsalynn weighed about 600 pounds when she first saw Dr. Now, but she was able to lose half of her weight with her new eating plan and gastric bypass surgery. Her spouse even tried to undermine her recovery by taking her to a fast-food drive-thru and ordering a burger.
In her ‘Where Are They Now?’ follow-up episodes, she announced that she had divorced her husband. She also acknowledged that continuing her weight loss journey on her own has been difficult. “Being alone a lot has been a bit of an adjustment for me,” Zsalynn explained. “I’ve suffered with depression when I don’t see (my daughter) Hannah for a while.” “And being alone has made dealing with my desires even more difficult.”
Fortunately, according to her social media (facebook and twitter) posts, everything appears to be going swimmingly for her. She has not only shed a significant amount of weight and is now living a happy and healthy life, but she has also found a man who accepts her for who she is. She also appears to have had surgery to remove extra skin.
