Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) was dealing with postpartum depression at the time. She was suffering, not only with day-to-day tasks but also with picking up the phone.
They discovered Lila dead, and she needed assistance. Michael is caught by Athena. A roadblock stops Jeffrey Hudson on the street, but he can proceed because he has a badge.
Next week’s episode 3, “Desperate Measures,” will include Hewitt once more. In addition, the story of the blackout will continue. While it would be ideal for her to improve quickly, they are more likely to deteriorate initially.
Maddie is forced to make a difficult decision. Because she has safeguarded people she loves, Athena will be in a bad situation.
In this episode, we expect a couple of major plotlines to be resolved.

The crew tries to balance the chopper so Bobby can find the heart; however, the wire gives way, and the plane crashes, sparing Bobby and the heart.
