Joe used to run the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (or the G.W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and Carole is the CEO of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary near Tampa, Florida.
While the series’ main plot revolves around this rivalry, it also explores the characters’ relationships with those around them.
Carole’s third spouse is Howard Baskin (Kyle MacLachlan). The show’s surprisingly peaceful and tranquil interactions between them serve as a key subplot.
This is what you need to know if you’re wondering if they’re still together in real life.
Are ‘Howard Baskin’ and ‘Carole’ Still Together?
Carole Baskin and Howard Baskin are still married. Since 2004, they’ve been married.
Carole was previously married to Michael Murdock from 1979 to 1990 and Don Lewis from 1991 to 2002, when he died officially.
Carole’s daughter with Michael, Jaime Veronica Murdock, was born on July 16, 1980.
Carole has made a YouTube video series on her life. Her relationship with Michael, she alleged, was rife with abuse.
Carole allegedly threw a potato at him and fled when he attempted to attack her in 1981. She met Lewis on 50th Street in Tampa while casually strolling around.
Don introduced himself as Bob Martin, according to her. Their relationship lasted almost a decade before she and Murdock separated.
Carole and Don later exchanged wedding vows, but their partnership proved to be unsatisfactory as well. He allegedly cheated on her several times, particularly during his vacations to Costa Rica, she claimed.
He vanished without a trace in August 1997. He was officially pronounced deceased five years later by the authorities.
On November 1, 2002, Carole and Howard met at the inauguration of No More Homeless Pets in Tampa. They met because he had previously visited the Big Cat Rescue, which is located at 12802 Easy St in Tampa.
WildLife on Easy Street, Inc. was the name of the facility at the time. They began dating soon after. Howard started working for the Big Cat Rescue as Chairman of the Advisory Board in 2002.
Since then, he has worked closely with Carole to educate the general public about their organization’s objective and purpose, as well as to assure the seamless administration of its finances.
Howard proposed to Carole at sunset on Anna Maria Island, Florida, exactly a year later. Carole was said to be so taken aback that she wrote “yes” in the sand.
On November 1, 2004, they married in a private ceremony at sunset on the same beach. Howard may be seen in a caveman outfit with a leash around his neck in one of the photographs from the strange ceremony.
Despite their unconventional start to their marriage, Howard and Carole are very much in love.
Carole is very active on social media, and she frequently shares images and videos of herself and her spouse. They are actively working in Congress to pass the Big Cat Public Safety Act.
