Psychic Maggie Gibson (Callie Thorne) is Coming Back in Season 13 – Since September 2010, CBS has shown the American police procedural drama television series Blue Bloods. The fictitious Reagan family, a Catholic Irish-American family, living in New York City with a background in law enforcement, is home to the show’s primary protagonists.

In addition to Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, and Len Cariou for all twelve seasons, Blue Bloods also features Amy Carlson (seasons 1-7) and Sami Gayle (seasons 1-11), who Marlene Lawston portrayed in the pilot episode. Tom Selleck plays New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan on the show.

The show is shot on location in New York City, while there are also references to suburbs. The first few episodes of the show aired on Fridays after CSI: NY on September 24, 2010; however, after a four-week trial run, they were shifted to Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time and 9:00 p.m. Central and Mountain time. It returned to its initial Friday 10:00 p.m.

Actress Callie Thorne plays psychic medium, Maggie Gibson. The USA Network television series Necessary Roughness featured Calliope “Callie” Thorne as Dr. Dani Santino. She is also well known for her earlier performances, including the two seasons she spent as Detective Laura Ballard on Homicide: Life on the Street, the film Homicide: The Movie, Sheila Keefe on Rescue Me, and Elena McNulty in The Wire.

Donnie Wahlberg doesn’t appear to believe Maggie and Danny are considering a romantic relationship despite their regular collaborations.

Thorne, who is of Armenian and English ancestry, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. At Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, she pursued studies in dramatic literature and theatre.

Thorne has appeared as a guest star on numerous television shows, including ER (2005–2006), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2004’s Silver Lining), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2003–2019), The Wire (2002–2008), Prison Break (2006), Royal Pains (2009), White Collar (2009), Burn Notice (2009–2010), Californication (2011), and Elementary (2012), in addition to Rescue Me.
