Marty and Wendy Byrde start to glimpse the light at the end of the tunnel, but they’re still not out of the woods.
The Byrde family comes tantalisingly close to cutting their ingeniously deep ties with the Mexican drug gang in ‘Ozark’ season 4 episode 7.
However, the various violent elements of revenge, ambition, and drug lord pride combine to create an especially dangerous atmosphere for the family’s leave, as is typically the case.
Jonah, too, seemed to have different ideas. It’s all on the line now. Can’t wait to find out what happens next?
So, here’s all we know about the highly anticipated season 4 episode 8 of ‘Ozark.’

Release Date for Ozark Season 4 Episode 8
Netflix will most likely broadcast ‘Ozark‘ season 4 episode 8 in 2022. Season 4 is divided into two parts, each with 7 episodes, and episodes 8 – 14 will be released at the same time on an as-yet-undetermined date.
Each episode is anticipated to last about 60 minutes.
Spoilers for Ozark Season 4 Episode 8
Ruth is set to go on a rampage in Episode 8, which will pick up from the suspenseful climax of Episode 7 (more on that later).
She has Javi, Omar Navarro’s nephew, in her sights, and we expect Part 2 to start with her plotting vengeance.
Keep your fingers crossed for Ruth Langmore, as going after a cartel boss will put our favourite irritable Ozark local (sorry, Darlene!) in grave jeopardy.
When Marty and Wendy are last seen, they are feverishly packing, but Ruth’s rage will most likely upset their plans.
If Javi is dead, the Byrds’ FBI deal would very certainly go apart, and they will become targets for the Navarro cartel.

As a result, we may anticipate Marty and Wendy attempting to avert a massive problem in the future episode.
Likewise, Jonah’s future is undetermined, and episode 8 may provide insight into whether the young money laundering prodigy will stay with his family or go out on his own.
Recap of ‘Ozark Season 4 Episode 7’
Soon after Wyatt refuses to leave town with Ruth, episode 7 opens with Wyatt and Darlene marrying in a romantic ceremony.
Meanwhile, the FBI accepts Omar Navarro’s request to meet with him to discuss the terms of his surrender.
The conversation is tense, and the cartel boss is instructed to return to Mexico and resume his duties while serving as a hidden FBI informant.
Navarro is dissatisfied, but he accepts the bargain out of desperation. Marty and Wendy are then informed by the FBI that they are no longer bound by their cartel duties.
Agent Maya Miller, dissatisfied with her FBI supervisors’ self-serving arrangement, publicly arrests Navarro, effectively dismantling the entire scheme.
However, as Marty and Wendy feverishly try to work out a compromise between the FBI and Navarro’s psychotic nephew Javi, it appears that Marty and Wendy are to blame for the cartel leader’s detention.
Javi eventually agrees to a bargain similar to his uncle’s, unaware that the FBI is planning to arrest him soon.
Javi, who has long had a vendetta towards Darlene, goes to the woman’s house and kills her and Wyatt while baby Zeke cries in the background in Episode 7.
When Ruth learns of it, she goes on a rampage, ignoring Marty and Wendy’s repeated warnings (which just serves to enrage her even more), and heading off in her truck with a shotgun, intending to avenge her beloved cousin Wyatt.
