Where Are the Hanson Brothers Now? What Are They Doing These Days? Let’s find out full information about them. Nothing beats sitting out in the backseat of your mom’s minivan, grooving out to the radio while Hanson’s “MMMBop” blared through the speakers, as any millennial will tell you. While the hit song’s words were mostly nonsensical, the music and the band of brothers with blond, luscious locks that we couldn’t get enough of in the late ’90s were seductive.
The Hanson brothers were everything in 1997. The late 1990s were governed by Isaac, Taylor, and Zac. So, what happened to the Hanson brothers? Fans that haven’t left will tell you that they haven’t gone anywhere! (In fact, there are a lot of people who believe they are now appearing on The Masked Singer!)
Three brothers, Issac Hanson, Taylor Hanson, and Zac Hanson dominated the music world in the 1990s with their addictive pop style and (happily!) refused to back down. They’ve experimented with a cappella, performed unforgettable singles like “MMMBop” and “Thinkin’ Bout Somethin‘,” and just made us fall in love with their artistry under the name Hanson.
So, even though die-hard fans know they’ve never actually gone away, let’s dive a little deeper to see what the trio has been up to lately, shall we?

Who Are the Hanson Brothers, and What Do They Do?
Issac, Taylor, and Zac, who were born in November 1980, March 1983, and October 1985, respectively, were not even teens when they decided to establish a full-fledged band on a fateful day in 1992. In their hometown of Tulsa, they began performing outside of local venues. Despite this, they managed to get signed and release their first major studio album, ‘Middle of Nowhere,’ in 1997.
That’s when Issac on guitar, vocals, bass, and piano, Taylor on keyboards, vocals, and percussion, and Zac on drums, vocals, and piano began to receive the attention they deserved.
The truth is that the brothers are motivated by inspiration rather than current events, which explains why they’ve had their ups and downs yet have lasted three decades. This intrinsic devotion is evident in all of the albums, singles, and tours they’ve graciously offered to the public, as well as the several documentaries on their creative process.
Every step they take in their career reveals that Zac, Issac, and Taylor’s early exposure to music by luminaries like Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Little Richard influenced who they are as individuals and as a group determined to be unique while remaining honest.

What Has Happened to the Hanson Brothers?
To begin honouring their 30th anniversary, the Hanson brothers are planning to release their latest project and world tour, both titled ‘Red Green Blue‘ (2022), as of this writing. It’s done this way because they wanted it to reflect each person’s creative voice.
Red represents Taylor, Green represents Issac, and Blue represents Zac. Hanson’s 11th studio album, ‘Against the World,’ will be released on November 5, 2021, just months after their spectacular experience on Fox’s ‘The Masked Singer.’
In terms of their other endeavours, Issac, Taylor, and Zac have their own indie record label, 3CG Records, as well as a beer brand called Hanson Brothers Beer. They started the record company in October 2003 because they wanted to distribute their music without any hassle or criticism from the outside world; hence the “3CG” stands for “3 Car Garage.” However, the group has stated in a few interviews over the years that they would love to sign other musicians to the company.
Thanks to its signature Pale Ale, “Mmmhops,” the Oklahoma-based craft beer company (founded in 2013) has managed to spread its wings across the midwest in less than a decade. But the best part is that a portion of the company’s income is always donated to charity. Every bottle of Hanson’s wine is said to come with a free song.
As if that wasn’t enough, the brothers decided to combine their loves in 2014 to develop the Hop Jam Beer and Music Festival in Tulsa, which has since grown to become one of the country’s largest beer and music festivals.
The Three Hanson Brothers are Now Happily Married
Between Isaac, Taylor, and Zac, there are 15 children. “It’s a cool thing,” Zac stated on the Lorraine chat show in the United Kingdom in 2019. “We spend a lot of time together on tour, in the studio, and in general, so our kids are very familiar with each other.” All three brothers are married as well. Here’s a rundown of what they’ve been up to lately in their personal lives.
Isaac Hanson and his wife Nicole are the Parents of Three Children.
Nicole Dufresne and Isaac Hanson married in 2006, shortly after meeting in a beautiful way: Isaac saw her in the audience at one of Hanson’s concerts! “Right after the show, I went to the primary guitar tech,” Isaac told Entertainment Weekly in 2007. “I was like, ‘Dude, I’m in desperate need of your assistance.’ There’s this young lady… ‘She’s on her way out.’ ‘Dude, I really don’t have time right now,’ he says. ‘Get in touch with the stage manager.’ So I got the stage manager to put a stop to my wife’s performance.”
Clearly, everything went well for the Hanson brothers’ eldest brother. James Monroe, Clarke Everett, and Nina Odette are his three children with Nicole. There’s no news yet on whether these three will band together and take over the music industry like their father and uncles did, but we wouldn’t rule it out.
Taylor Hanson is the Father of Seven children!
If Isaac’s children don’t grow on to be music stars, there’s a strong chance at least one of Taylor’s children will – he has a lot of them! Jordan Ezra, River Samuel, Viggo Moriah, and Claude Indiana Emmanuel Bryant are his four boys and three daughters with his wife Natalie Bryant (Penelope “Penny” Anne, Wilhelmina “Willa” Jane, and Maybellene Alma Joy).
Natalie opened up to People about how she and Taylor pick names for their children. “I tend to incline toward names that are unusual but translatable while choosing names for my children,” she said. “I prefer to locate hidden gems that make people squirm a little when they first hear them, but seem perfectly apparent after a while.” I’m looking for a name that symbolises both my and my husband’s tastes, something a little name-nerdy and a little rock ‘n’ roll!”
Zac Hanson has Five Children.
John Ira Shepherd, Junia Rose Ruth, George Abraham Walker, Mary Lucille Diana, and Quincy Joseph Thoreau (who was born in March of 2021!) are the proud parents of Zac Hanson and his wife, Kate. He often updates his Instagram account with photos of his family’s trips, and he appears to be living his best life.
Don’t forget about Josh “Mac” Mackenzie Hanson, the fourth Hanson brother!
That’s right, and there’s a fourth Hanson brother you’ve probably never heard of! And if you don’t know who Mac Hanson is, you’re losing out – he’s a phenomenal artist. However, when he was younger, he was hesitant to enter the music industry. “Music was something I relegated to my brothers that was their thing, and I felt I wanted to develop my own identity,” the singer said in an interview with Billboard in 2018.
“In retrospect, I can see how pride and ego may come in the way of doing what you want or are supposed to do.” I now recognise that my apprehension about making music sprang from a worry of how it would appear or be viewed.”
Joshua and the Holy Rollers’ frontman, Mac, are members of the band Joshua and the Holy Rollers. In August of 2020, he married Nicole Stark, and in September of the same year, they welcomed their son Elliot Harvest Stark Hanson into the world.
